How long has Dental Select been open?
Dental Select has been serving patients in central Pattaya for over a decade. Our team includes specialist dentists with 10–20+ years of clinical experience, several of whom were trained at leading Thai dental schools and have completed continuing education in Europe, the US and Japan.
Are your dentists qualified to international standards?
Yes. All our dentists are fully licensed by the Dental Council of Thailand (the equivalent of the GDC in the UK or ADA in the US). Our specialists hold post-graduate qualifications in their field — implantology, orthodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics — and attend international conferences regularly to stay current.
What sterilization standards do you follow?
We follow Thailand Ministry of Public Health protocols, which align with WHO and CDC guidelines. Every reusable instrument is steam-sterilized in autoclave units between patients, surfaces are disinfected with hospital-grade solutions, and single-use disposables are used wherever clinically appropriate.
What equipment and brands do you use?
Our treatment rooms are equipped with Dentsply Sirona Intego chairs from Germany, digital intraoral X-ray, intraoral cameras and 3D dental imaging. For implants we use Straumann (Switzerland), Nobel Biocare and Osstem; for ceramics, IPS e.max and zirconia; for composites, 3M Filtek. We do not substitute generic equivalents.
Do you treat international patients?
Yes — a significant percentage of our patients are international visitors from the UK, US, Australia, Russia, EU, Middle East and elsewhere in Asia. We are experienced at planning treatment around travel dates, providing English documentation for insurance, and following up remotely after patients return home.
What if there's a complication after treatment?
We provide detailed aftercare instructions and a 24/7 emergency contact for the first weeks after surgical procedures. If a complication arises after you’ve returned home, we coordinate with your local dentist by email or video call. Most warranty issues can be resolved by your local dentist with our support; for major rework, we offer return visits at no charge within the warranty period.
